I had received a 2-year contract in the banking world here on the coast. The contract then turned into a permanent position. In 2013, I left that field and entered the real estate industry. The years have passed, and since 2013, I have been a franchisee for a large Swedish real estate chain and also a realtor.
In parallel with real estate, I have also been building properties in Nueva Andalucia, Marbella, over the past few years.
My years here in Spain have given me really good experience and knowledge regarding buying and selling properties and everything that comes with it. One thing is certain, … it does NOT work like “back home,” but it works well here too. So I would say it’s important to get help from someone who has good experience in what you need.
I really enjoy helping our clients find their dream home here on the Costa del Sol.
From the first contact when we find out your needs and wishes, to the detective work of finding your home. But it doesn’t stop there. We know that most clients appreciate that we remain by their side even after the purchase, and we will be there for you.
This is where our long experience comes in handy if you wish.
Double Key Investment will be your partner in an upcoming real estate transaction, your buyer’s agent.
Two things you didn’t know about me.
-In my youth, I worked as an au pair in New York.
-I have a Swedish Championship gold in high jump, … for police officers, worked as a police officer in the 80s.

In 2012, I took the step to emigrate to Spain and started my new career as a realtor on the Costa del Sol.
For the past 10 years, I have run my own real estate agency with a focus on providing quality and security for the customer. In a real estate transaction, we have also offered several service services after the purchase, which has created a long-term relationship with our customers.
During my years in Spain, I have built up a large network in all the areas required when you want to establish yourself in a new country.
One of my qualities is that I always focus on the customer’s best interests and convey knowledge and quality. My personal interest in renovating homes in Spain gives me a specialized knowledge that my customers appreciate.
What do I do in my free time?
When we are free, my partner Anna Karin and I enjoy meeting friends at a cozy restaurant, on the paddle court, or as a favorite, spending a few days in our motorhome, which takes us to new places to discover in the sun.
The reason I have chosen Spain as my home is partly the 300 sunny days a year, partly the endless new things to explore. The Spanish lifestyle gives us a quality of life that I wish many more could have the opportunity to experience.
Two things you didn’t know about me!
I have promised to resume windsurfing in 2024 after a 40-year break…
I played football and faced Kaiserslautern’s youth football team at Fritz-Walter Stadium in Kaiserslautern, but the final result remains a secret…

My great interest in life is the children. Those closest to my heart are our seven grandchildren. It is a great joy when they come to visit us here in Spain.
I love to travel and discover new places.
And I enjoy sports – all sports! I am glued to the TV, cheering, whether it’s summer or winter sports.
I have worked as a teacher and school leader all my life. Here in Spain, I first worked for a couple of years at the Swedish school in Fuengirola, and in 2009, I started working at the Swedish school in Marbella. I have good experience of how life can be for children on the Costa del Sol, which schools are recommended, what leisure activities are available, etc. I can guide you to what suits your children and teenagers best. Is it better with a Swedish, Spanish, or international school? I also have experience of what is available for shorter stays here, such as short-term school.
At Double Keys Investment, I am in the background. I am happy to talk to you and answer general questions. I have a large network that I share.
Two things you didn’t know about me:
I have written several children’s books. They are about how I grew up in the 1960s. They are completely true books that are very popular.
I have been involved in starting a local revue and one of Sweden’s first parent cooperative preschools.

I have always had a fondness for Spain.
In the winter of 1994, I took a Spanish course. It was only about 200 meters to the course location, but it was enough; the wind was howling and it was snowing heavily… I said loudly to drown out the wind – I was born in the wrong country! But here I am now, 20 years later.
My working life has consisted of working with people as a nursing assistant, in correctional services, as a shop assistant, etc. I am happy to meet and help new and old acquaintances.
In Spain, I have now worked for 2 ½ years. I haven’t regretted it for a second. I really love Spain – the sun, the blue sky, the people, the sea, the beaches, the food, the trees with avocados, lemons, oranges, or our sun-warmed grapes that grow in our garden and much more.
I started a rental company because we had many clients (to whom Anders had sold homes) who wanted our help renting out their properties. Oh, how much I have learned, but it has been so much fun to work both administratively and to have contact with all the guests.
Free time: We often take the motorhome and drive around, the favorite is Tarifa, which we never get “enough” of. It’s wonderfully delightful when children, grandchildren, and relatives come here and enjoy Spain and the sun with and at us.
Enjoying dinners and games with friends or enjoying the sun and the wonderful view over the sea, mountains, and green areas.
Two things you don’t know about me:
I swam the Vansbro swim after my brother told me – If you can swim 1500 m, you can manage 3000 m. Went to the swimming pool, swam 1500 m once in November (that was the only time I swam before Vansbro) In July, we went up and I managed to swim the entire “race.” My brother was right.
I broke my arm when I was about 3 years old – I was sitting on the toilet waiting for my aunt to change my cousin’s diaper, fell asleep, fell down… and woke up with a broken arm.
